Ladies Singles Knockout Rules

Perpetual Trophy sponsored by the Members Fund, Kirtlington Golf Club (1997) Format: Singles Match Play. Eligibility: Open to all ladies with a WHS Handicap Index including Junior girls. Conditions of Entry: a) Draw is made on the “automatic” system b) Responsibility for match arrangements falls upon all participants equally. (It is recognised practice for the Player appearing first on the draw sheet to have the courtesy of applying to her opponent offering three dates for play. However, consideration must be given where five- and seven-day members meet, and at least one accommodating date [either weekday or weekend] offered.) c) All matches to commence at the First tee. d) All matches must be played by the dates indicated. Failure to do so could result in disqualification of both parties. e) Any disputes to be referred to the Ladies’ Committee, the decision of which is final. f) The Final maybe refereed, If requested Course Handicap Limit: 45 Handicap Allowance: Full difference in Course Handicaps. Ties: Should no result be produced at the 18th hole, the match will proceed to “sudden death” play off, commencing at the 1st (19th) tee.
